Services Offered
Biological
Treatment Services Carbon-Donor Biofilm allows leveraging of both anaerobic and aerobic processes to achieve more efficient biological hydrolysis and biological synthesis: allowing revolutionary efficiency gains in wastewater treatment, nutrient recovery and sustainable methane production. Mining and Industrial Wastewater Treatment
& Total Recycling Rapid biological polishing of post-sedimentation, post-centrifuge, post-DAF and post-HDC treated wastes allows complete removal of recalcitrant residual dissolved solids, soluble BOD and soluble COD. Attendant value-added extension of biological processes generates income that can greatly offset costs. Ultra High Efficiency Aquaponics
Proprietary 3-Dome systems incorporate, in combination, the most thermally efficient and footprint efficient aquaculture and vertical horticulture systems. Output of fish, giant prawns, herbs, specialty vegetables and salad makings is, accordingly, higher in volume and lower in cost-of-production than can be delivered by any competing system. Single acre systems can generate gross returns in excess of $1 million per annum, while providing employment to more than 20 personnel. Comprehensive
Refugee Center Services: Jobs, Housing, Water, Energy & Food. Integration of cost-efficient, disaster-proof and thermally efficient housing, with tailored, site-specific water, renewable energy and “local” food systems – all of which optimize circular economies – can employ most adults in any refugee center while also providing all of the water, all of the power and most of the food required by such centers. Value-added production for export can also generate vital cash flows allowing import and sustenance of personal items (such as cell phones) that can greatly increase local happiness and center’s overall utility. |
Municipal Wastewater Treatment, Value Extraction
& Total Recycling Fully leveraged, value-added extraction of all nutrients and energy inherent in wastewater: capture of all carbon & residual hydrogen efficiently contributes to energy; and photosynthetic leveraging of all NPK and most salts in wastewater create value sufficient to drive the entire process while also allowing advanced quaternary treatment and complete recycling of the underlying water and closure of unattractive mechanical wastewater treatment plants. Superfood & Attendant Highly Nutritional Quick - Serve Bulk Food Production
Tailored, location appropriate production systems allow efficient, cost-effective production of Lemnaceae superfood at desired output levels. Attendant just-in-time processing of superfood allows preparation of chef-formulated and nutritionist-approved quick-serve meals that are bulk packed for efficient storage, transport and serving. Post Disaster Recovery, Disaster Proof Housing
Proprietary geodesic dome kits manufactured using STL engineered lumbers can be assembled by children, but withstand any hurricane, cyclone or earthquake, and survive most tornados. Systems, typically configured as 3-story housing can also be designed to float upward on secured pylons during extreme – or even intermittent – flooding. Construction costs on an occupied footprint basis are typically less than other forms of permanent housing. Desert Rehabilitation
Phyto-desalination of underlying brackish water resources allows farming of desert landscapes at a 30x intensity of such fabled farmland and Iowa in the United States – while using only 5% as much water. Phyto-desalination also produces a residual output of desalinated drinking water that is sufficient to support a population 50x larger than the workforce employed directly on the project. The profitability of desert farming is also 30x (on a footprint basis) that of places such as Iowa. |
Municipal Solid Waste Treatment, Value Extraction
& Total Recycling Fully leveraged, value-added extraction of thin-film plastics, as well as all nutrients, carbon and residual hydrogen from wet, volatiles in municipal solid wastes creates value sufficient to drive the entire process while also enabling closure of MSW landfills and incinerators in participating towns and cities. Cost-Efficient Firm,
On-Demand 100% Renewable Power Tailored, location appropriate configurations allow blending of floating solar, roof-integral solar, agro-solar, SynGas-driven CHP micro gas turbines, in-line stream-flow hydro, sentinel wind turbine and biomass CHP pyrolysis allow production of “best value” firm, on-demand power holding typically superior value to local grid-delivered power. Carbon dioxide captured from gas turbines and pyrolysis systems allow enhanced production of Lemnaceae and further value addition. Hybrid systems can be tailored to any location or specific requirements. Salinized Irrigation Command
Area Rehabilitation Vast irrigated acreage throughout the world – from Australia to The US, Peru, India and China – have become salinized due to poor irrigation (drainage) practices and attendant waterlogging. These areas can be farmed and desalinated in a manner identical to Desert Rehabilitation (see above) -- generating even higher marginal returns. |

Even where treated, wastewater is not being recycled.
While the map (source: UNEP) below (Ratio of Wastewater Treatment) provides a reasonably accurate assessment of “what’s actually being treated,” (municipal wastewater) the reader is reminded that the standard of treatment is a moving target. In Mexico, for instance, “Norma Uno,” which sets the standard for conventional wastewater treatment – a standard that is almost never subscribed, let alone met – is, in effect, almost no standard at all. Indeed, much of the raw municipal wastewater in the US would meet Mexico’s Norma #1 standard without any treatment whatsoever. That only 15% of Mexican wastewater is ever treated to this almost non-existent standard is truly shocking. |
Treatment of Wastewater across the World.
Today, the real cost of wastewater treatment in Europe, North America, Australasia and Eastern Asia, is >$1.6 per cubic meter, with little of that recycled into the cities that produce the wastewater. Skillicorn Technologies allows treatment to potable quality at very little cost to either the city or the municipality. Leveraged thus, existing water supply sources are sufficient to allow most large cities to double or even triple their size without having to find more water.
We MAKE and DELIVER WATER where it is otherwise unavailable -- and we do it less expensively and at a better quality and more reliably than anyone else in the world -- indeed, FOR A PROFIT!
WHY? Because we embrace wastewater and brackish water . . . and, we have superior and multiple-value technologies and we use and monetize EVERYTHING . . . ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GETS THROWN AWAY . . . WE MAKE THE MOST OF PHOTOSYNTHETIC LEVERAGE
